This sextant is fully functional for navigation and comes with a certificate of calibration.

The case can hold the sextant and both telescopes.
The 4x40 scope has a brighter image than the 7x35 monocular and is best for low-light conditions or when the vessel is
heaving.
The 4x40 scope has fully coated optics and a large 40 mm objective lens to yield a sharp four-power non-inverted image.
The Tamaya 7x35 monocular scope produces a sharp high power 7-power wide angle non-inverted image.
The Tamaya 7x35 monocular scope is more powerful than the 4x40 scope for more accurate readings.
Either scope fits both Tamaya's Spica and Jupiter Sextants.
The scope has fully coated optics and a large 35 mm objective lens.
