"The Bounty" Large Stained Glass Tableau is the only stained glass art of The Bounty in the world.  This beautifully detailed piece was created by the only stained glass guild authorized to reproduce the works of Tiffany.  The large 250 square inch Stained Glass Tableau is made in the United States and signed by designer Jack Woodson, certifying for all time its authenticity.
Most are familiar with The Bounty from the movie "Mutiny on the Bounty."  In 1787 Captain William Bligh sailed the Tall Ship HMS Bounty to Tahiti to collect more than 1000 breadfruit plants to take to the Caribbean.  After leaving Tahiti, Master's Mate Fletcher Christian, angered over the continual abuse from Capt. Bligh took control of the ship and the mutineers and eventually settled on Pitcairn Island.
The artists have applied 17 individual colors, one at a time, to textured cathedral glass.  After each color is applied, the glass is dried and inspected.  Then the artists fire the glass in a kiln that is just below the melting point of glass to permanently fuse the color into the paint.  The tableau is framed in beautiful solid hand-rubbed walnut with splined joinery.  The dramatic beauty of this stained glass art changes at various times of the day, and with different sources of light.
A solid brass plaque with one or two lines of text can be mounted on either the top or bottom section of the walnut frame.  Custom plaques usually do not delay the shipping of your order.  Our engraving and shipping status is updated hourly:

The walnut frame measures 19 3/4 inches (50.2 cm) wide and 16 inches (40.6 cm) tall.  The exposed portion of the Stained Glass image measures 18 1/8 inches (46 cm) wide and 13 3/8 inches (34 cm) tall.  The Stained Glass Tableau can be hung from a window or set near a window.  It comes complete with solid walnut stands which increase the height of the Tableau by 1 3/8 inches (3.5 cm).  The Stained Glass Tableau with stands weighs a very solid 4 pounds, 6 ounces (2 kg) and comes carefully packed with a certificate of authenticity.
The Bounty Stained Glass Tableau sells for $319.

The scene of "Return of the Keeper," takes place around the turn of the century when bay lighthouses were manned by vigilant keepers and most vessels were powered by wind.  The lighthouse keeper would spend weeks on lonely and hazardous duty.  A tribute to the lighthouse keeper seen here returning from Annapolis, Maryland, is depicted in brilliant stained glass in John Morton Barber's famous "Return of the Keeper."
Built in 1975, the Thomas Point Lighthouse was manned until 1986 when it became automated.  The lighthouse continues to serve mariners on the Chesapeake.
The stained glass is made in the United States by artists applying individual colored paints, one at a time, to textured cathedral glass.  After each color is applied, the glass is dried and inspected.  Then the artists fire the glass in a kiln that is just below the melting point of glass to permanently fuse the color into the paint.
The Stained Glass oval measures 6 3/4 inches (17.1 cm) wide and 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) tall.  The Stained Glass oval can be hung in a window and a chain is included.  The back of the oval frame has two loops for connecting the chain.  The Stained Glass oval weighs 11 ounces (312 grams) and comes carefully packed in a white gift box with a sheet of historical background.
The Return of the Keeper by John Morton Barber Stained Glass Oval is offered at only $36.50.
