We are pleased to offer this beautiful reproduction of a Confederate Cavalry Officer's Sword.
Both sides of the blade are beautifully etched and marked "CSA" to designate the Confederate States
Army and the brass hand guard is marked "CS" for the Confederate States.
The sword aso featurers a comfortable leather grip with twisted wire.
The 33-inch (82.8 cm) blade is made of tempered high carbon steel and measures .215 inches (5.5 mm) thick and
1 3/16 inch (30 mm) wide.
Overall, this sword measures 38 3/4 inches (98.4 cm) long and weighs 2 pounds 7.3 ounces (1.1 kg).
The sword comes complete with a blued steel scabbard with polished brass fittings.
The blued steel and brass scabbard weighs 1 pound, 13.5 ounces (836 grams).
There is a very limited area for custom engraving on either side of the blade since it is etched on both sides.
But we do offer Custom Engraving with up to three lines of text on the
scabbard.
Please identify the desired location and orientation of the engraving when ordering.
Note that the sword cannot be shipped with a sharpened blade, however you can easily sharpen the blade yourself.
