A man's full arm extension is necessary to be able to hold our largest handheld spyglass telescope.
When completely extended, these large solid brass telescopes are 35 1/2 inches (90.3 cm) long and
are 12 inches (30.5 cm) long when collapsed.
Three versions of these four-pipe telescopes are available;
Polished brass, hand-sewn leather sheathed brass, and antique patina.
All three versions have bright 5-element ground glass optics with a powerful 20-power
view and produce clear non-inverting (upright) images.
Each telescope is made of heavy solid brass and each weighs 3 pounds, 9 ounces (1.6 kg).
The telescopes are 2 1/2-inches (6.4 cm) in diameter with a 52 mm diameter ground glass objective lens.
A built-in sunshade extends to reduce lens flare.

The corners of the box are inlaid with lighter hardwood splines and the interior of the box has a dark green
Also, an oval brass plate is inlaid flush with the surface on the top of the case.
The case measures 12 3/4 inches (32.4 cm) long, 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm) deep, 3 3/8 inches (8.6 cm) tall, and
weighs 1 pound, 9 ounces (710 grams).
Custom engraving directly on the telescope near the eyepiece or
custom engraved brass plaques for the top or the front of the case are also
When requesting engraving directly on the telescope, we suggest engraving full names rather than monograms
or initials due to the large width of the engravable area.

The Leather Sheathed 35-inch Telescope with hardwood case sells for $235.
