This two-sided Ship's Telegraph is a beautiful brass reproduction.
The Pilot House and the Engine Room once used the Ship's Telegraph as their main communication link.
The telegraph has detents to hold the handles at each station.
Since both handles move together in tandem, this means that this type of telegraph was dedicated
to a single engine.
The solid brass Ship's Telegraph has a wooden base and is stamped "Stanley London."
We now carry two sizes of the telegraph: The smaller model stands 6 1/4 inches (15.9 cm) tall (not including
the handles), has a 2 1/16 inch (5.2 cm) diameter dial, has a 3 1/2 inch (8.9 cm) diameter turned
hardwood base, weighs 14 ounces (400 grams), and is available for $39.
The larger model stands 18 inches (45.7 cm) tall (not including the handles), has a 5 1/8 inch
(13 cm) diameter dial, has an 8 inch (20.3 cm) diameter turned hardwood base, weighs 8 1/4 pounds
(3.7 kg), and is offered at $250.
We also have a Ship's Telegraph Key Chain.
